For centuries, Fort Aguada stood sentinel, watching over the Arabian Sea, holding its silence through wars, winds, and waves. But time doesn’t wait. And neither did we.
What began as a crumbling coastal relic has been transformed into one of Goa’s most ambitious conservation projects, a 17th-century fortress that now lives again as a space of culture, memory, and community.
This wasn’t just about fixing walls. It was about piecing together stories. The project encompassed a multi-layered restoration across 3.6 acres, led by the vision of LKS and the Govt. of Goa under the India@75 initiative.
